LzLabs will enable PROFI AG customers to re-host their legacy applications on open systems and the cloud
Zurich, 12 September 2017 – LzLabs today announced that it has partnered with PROFI Engineering Systems AG, the leading German IT solution house, to deliver the LzLabs Software-Defined Mainframe® (SDM). LzLabs’ software capabilities will provide PROFI AG enterprise customers and prospects with a viable way to re-host mainframe applications in Red Hat Linux environments or the Microsoft Azure cloud, without any recompilation of application code.
By offering the LzLabs Software Defined Mainframe® as part of its service offering, PROFI AG will help customers and prospects escape the high recurring cost of mainframe software and hardware, whilst preserving their enormous investment in legacy applications, data and business processes. It will enable PROFI AG to meet growing customer demand for the integration of new technologies with the mainframe and the need to future-proof their business processes in the modern era.
