Compilers for PL/1 & COBOL
Native x86 compilers for COBOL and PL/1, based on the popular Raincode® compilers. These compilers produce highly optimised object code leveraging the power of LLVM, and include support for mainframe datatypes and command-level references to LzOnline, LzHierarchical and LzRelational.
Integrated Remote Debugger
A fully integrated step-step-thought debugger that enables modern diagnostic methods and practices to be applied to the maintenance of legacy applications. In conjunction with the Eclipse framework, this model of application maintenance is familiar to modern programmers, ensuring legacy application maintenance can be handled by a much larger talent pool.
LzWorkbench enables COBOL source to be transcoded to JAVA. The JAVA is functionally-equivalent to the original COBOL. As a result of SDM interoperability features, any legacy applications that have had just one or two of their programs converted to JAVA using the LzWorkbench transcoder, will continue to produce consistent outcomes.
