LzLabs Gotthard Opens Escape Route for Trapped Mainframe Users (Pressebox)

This article discusses the availability of Gotthard, the first Software Defined mainframe (SDM). Users are now, for the first time, able to migrate their mainframe applications and data on modern systems. This allows the applications that process 70 percent of all financial transactions to be transferred to Red Hat Linux servers or Microsoft’s Azure cloud.
